Before using silicone molds or parts for food, thoroughly wash molds or parts with water and a dishwashing detergent solution, rinse and dry. If applicable, wash molds or parts thoroughly between batches. Adding additives, such as color pigments, creates untested conditions, so no statement can be made about its compliance with the FDA.
