Amazing remelt is a non-toxic, FDA compliant or low exothermic material. It softens to remelt at >120 ° f (48.89 ° C) and is reused again and again to make new molds. It is very suitable for making molds for small items, such as jewelry, decorations, polymer gel and soft candy. AMR meets FDA standards for food contact.

Operation:

Before starting, make sure your work area is suitable for melting operations, such as carpets, clothes and other materials.

1. Mold preparation

Thoroughly clean and remove all dirt / contaminants before melting the molding remelt and pouring the mold,

Avoid leakage or melting into the mold or components, and ensure that the mold box is sealed before pouring. The mold box can be sealed with clay, tape or material. Since AMR has heat during casting, wear gloves or use heat proof pads during processing.

Make sure your master is firmly fixed to your template to prevent it from floating.

2. Demoulding

Before pouring AMR, the prototype / master mold needs to be coated with release agent. Avoid using models / master molds of porous materials

3. Heating instructions

Remove the package cover and heat the AMR to 140 ° f (60 ° C) in an oven, microwave oven or steamer.

On average, a 0.625 pound capacity in the microwave oven should take more than 2 minutes, and a 2.5 pound capacity in the microwave oven should take no more than 3-4 minutes

Gently stir regularly to dissolve any unmelted material.

Do not exceed 190 ° f (60 ° C). Overheating will cause the material to boil and produce bubbles.

4. Pouring

Once the material is completely melted, it can be quickly poured around the model to the height required by the mold.

5. Avoid bubbles

The first step to avoid too many bubbles is to heat it slowly. Don't boil the material taken out of the heat source every 30-40 seconds and stir it gently. The heating melt will begin to thicken when it is cooled. Therefore, after confirming that it has completely melted, it should be quickly poured into the prepared mold box. You can also heat your original and mold slightly to keep AMR liquid for a longer time.

6. Mold casting

Food application: Amazing remelt is suitable for chocolate, fudge, gum, butter, gelatin, water or any other products that will not produce more than 130 ° f (54.44 ° C). Store the resin mold and food mold separately. Food grade molds can only be used with food grade casting materials (such as chocolate, sugar, fudge or butter) to prevent contamination.

Resin casting: casting resin usually generates heat when curing. The greater the quality of the casting resin, the more heat generated or released. This heat may lead to softening, deformation and even melting of the amazing remelt. Cooling the mold in the refrigerator before casting can slow down the reaction time and reduce the heat generated by the cured resin, so that you can use a specific resin and keep it at the softening temperature of amazing remeltn. Many rapid casting resins, such as when molds and resins are refrigerated before casting, can be successfully used for small and / or thin castings (beads, buttons, decorations, etc.).

The resin with long curing time will not generate too much heat due to slow curing, so it can be used to cast larger items, although casting more than ¼   Thick objects also generate enough heat to remelt or deform the mold. For projects with thick areas, layered pouring can keep the heat release low

7. Storage and shelf life

Store the amazing remelt in a cool and dry place and keep it covered. Amazing remelt can last for several years, depending on the number of melts.

It can be recycled if the new remelt is added to the old material. Molds should be stored in plastic storage bags or plastic wrap in a cool place. Avoid long-term exposure to sunlight or high temperatures, including in cars, because the product will soften, deform or melt. Store the resin mold and food mold separately. Food grade molds can only be used with food grade casting materials (such as chocolate, sugar, fudge or butter) to prevent contamination.
